16. Getting a Rent Receipt

Yeah...
A new day, a new bad surprise, and since I have moved in Bavaria, I have known none without one.
I wrote a lot about the downsides and the ridiculousness of the German Apartments, and when I thought my last note was the last. Alas, it was not.
As you know, I sent my Termination of Lease, and I feel completely and entirely conned but relieved that I will leave it and leave Augsburg and Bavaria.
I thought the issues with the deadline and the kitchen where enough, but no.
In France, you can ask each month the receipt of your rent payment, and you can also request a proof / certificate of payments of all rents when you leave the apartment, documents very useful when you want to prove to your future landlord that you are reliable.
Those documents are free, completely free of charge, and the landlord must comply.
In Germany, the landlord can (and usually) makes you pay for the certificate of rent payment (Mietschuldenfreiheitsbescheinigung).
Of course, you won't have the monthly rent receipt at all.
I read that it can be from 50 euros for this one page document that you can pre-fill and send to your landlord for them to only sign it.
It only contains your and their address, the lease dates and that the tenant paid their rent.
It seems so ridiculous for me having to pay at least 50 euros for a receipt.
Imagine if you had to pay for the invoice when buying your computer.
Well, I guess this is my last complaint regarding apartments in Germany (?).
