I've been experimenting VS Code since a little while. The editor itself is probably not that bad, it just needs some time to adjust the editor to me and adjust myself to the editor. Quite soon I noticed that viewing plain diff files is a bit lacking: no outline is shown to jump from file to file. I learned this can be achieved by writing an extension. But how to write one?
