Interesting blogpost on Competition.You reminded me of what Adam Smith Calls "Hidden hand of the market" or what Marx Calls "Coercive laws of Competition". Since you are interested in Philosophy and Economy, Marx's ***Das Kapital*** would be a an enjoyable read for you I guess (regardless of what you think of him). It is quite a rich book, a mix of Philosophy, Economy, Literature and History.
