Isaías, 44

Así habla el rey de Israel y su redentor, Yavé de los Ejércitos: «Yo soy el primero y el último; no hay otro Dios fuera de mí.

Apocalipsis, 1

Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega, dice el Señor Dios, Aquel que Es, que era y que ha de venir, el Todopoderoso.

Dios, YAHVEH, se nos presenta como el Primero y el Último, como el Alfa y el Omega. Esto que parece una contradicción no lo es ya que nos explica la esencia de Dios, sus modos, su característica.

Entonces, podemos decir:
Dios existe y no existe.
Dios está presente y está ausente.
Dios habla y no habla.
Dios escucha y no escucha.
Dios nos ama y no nos ama.

Podríamos seguir con las enumeraciones para explicar a Dios, pero creo que ya quedo claro con esos pocos ejemplos.

Ahora podemos comprender de manera más integral casi todo.

Revelation, 1

I am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord God, the One who Is, who was and who is to come, the Almighty.

God, YAHVEH, is presented to us as the First and the Last, as the Alpha and the Omega. This seems to be a contradiction, but it is not, since it explains to us the essence of God, his ways, his characteristic.

So, we can say:
God exists and does not exist.
God is present and absent.
God speaks and does not speak.
God listens and does not listen.
God loves us and does not love us.

We could go on with the enumerations to explain God, but I think it is already clear with these few examples.

Now we can understand in a more integral way almost everything.
