Repetition for Transformation: Reading Books of the Bible Again...and Again

I was first persuaded years ago while listening to a message from John MacArthur that, even though any Bible reading is beneficial, reading through whole books of the Bible is especially beneficial. See How to Enjoy Bible Study

And more recently, there is a string of articles that traces this concept back to a book published in 1904 by a well known bible teacher named James Gray.

One pastor has said, โ€œthe plan they recommend is, from my vantage point, the most productive way to read and to master the Bibleโ€™s contents (or more importantly, to let the Bible master you!).โ€ HT: Justin Taylor

The testimony of all those who have put this concept into practice is that repeatedly reading through whole books of the Bible, though simple and challenging, can nevertheless change your life.
