Pakistani and North Indian cookbook

Recently, I bought a cookbook with title "Pakistani and North Indian Cookbook: 30+ Recipes Quick, Easy and Authentic". I was surprised when I opened the package. It was a thin book with no pictures except for the front and back cover. I also do not see any author information. I picked the book up from an online store (which took about a month or two to arrive) and I was just curious because it is hard to get good Pakistani and Indian cookbooks. I have never had Pakistani food and the Indian food I had is probably not representative. So I was willing to take a chance.

I have not counted if there are 30+ recipes, which is delightfully vague. The book "printout" was more of a Microsoft Word booklet. While browsing the 30+ recipes, I noticed that the instructions point to pictures, but there are no pictures inside the booklet. But they say not to judge a book by its cover. So I am taking that literally and I will be trying two recipes in the next two days: Aloo Gosht (Beef and Potato Curry) and Seedha Saadha Raita (Yoghurt with Mint and Cucumber). Hope they turn out good as all the ingredients were available.
