Welcome to the Speedy Gazelle

This blog, launching on Data Privacy Day, is a place of expression for my thoughts and experiences in digital privacy and security, as well as other tech-related topics. In recognition that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to privacy and security (see: threat modeling), I aim to present a balanced perspective that could be classified as something akin to a medium level threat model.

I chose the moniker "Speedy Gazelle" because that is exactly what I aim to be: a gazelle that is fast enough to not be worth the effort to hungry lions (read: bad actors); however, a gazelle is still a gazelle and could be bested by a lion. Thankfully, most lions don't want to work that hard.

I have no sponsors and no resume-worthy experience in this field, just a passion for privacy and security and the desire to share with others.
