Keep in mind the Xiaomi Community app is NOT reliable https://xdaforums.com/t/how-to-unlock-bootloader-on-xiaomi-hyperos-all-devices.4654009/post-89750423 , each time you try to bind your account immediately go to the developers option "mi unlock" submenu and try to bind and then try to run mi unlock from pc, regardless of any output.
