What the fuck? How can the social mobility commissioner puke up this kind of essentialist nonsense for which we have known for a very long time that there is absolutely no fucking evidence at all? All this tells us is that you don't have to be very clever to get a degree in French and philosophy, or to get a job in the current government (well, we know that second part).
