Michele became aware of her special power when she clicked the switch to the broken basement light, out of habit, and the light went on.

She was always told she was a special child with great unforeseen power. At the time she was caught completely off guard and was overcome with major responsibility. She had a decision to make. It was either use her power for the greater good and to help the people of Earth in this war, fighting for humanity, saving the world, or to conceal her hidden power and to hide. The war was completely one sided. All hope was lost.
