Task 2 Creative Writing Practice

A desert of emptiness with not a single living organism in sight. One tree stands strong, resilient to all the obstacles nature throws its way. A desolate desert with the sun trying to shine its light onto the desert. Dissipating clouds hover around in the sky allowing small rays of sunshine to break through and greet this empty land with its warmth. The clouds and sunlight blend together to create this magic hour of a shimmering state. The tree, the sole survivor in this void of emptiness, dances in the sunlight. The ocean-like sky encloses the whole world as a mother does with her newborn, protecting it from the harsh realities of the world. In the middle of it all rests the tree at peace standing strong, tall and freely. Enjoying the cool breeze as its leaves sway from side to side like nature's pendulum.
