Wednesday at 7:32 PM 99/100 ( #100days writing challenge)

Today was pretty good, even though I didn't sleep very well last night. I had plans to go across town to meet with my counselor, and I'm glad I did. The meeting went really well because I think highly of my counselor, and she seems to think the same of me. We had a lot of laughs and enjoyed her adorable therapy dog, who kept us entertained. Overall, it was a great day! With the holiday shopping in full swing, my porch has been busy with delivery guys dropping off packages. Luckily, all the packages arrived safely and on time.

Good things:

  • Saw a large shrubbery tree with googly eyes and a smile, which made me laugh. The eyes weren't real.

  • Purchased a significant amount of closeout-priced yarn to make more plushie cat dolls.

  • Appreciated the simple beauty of a wooden pencil for writing and planned to scan the writing later.

  • Selected high-quality canned sardines from Spain to keep the pantry stocked with protein-rich foods.

  • Took a low-fidelity film camera on a walk to see the world through a different kind of lens.
