Amazingreen Perfume I bought this perfume a long time ago on the gray market. The bottle is beautiful—true to the CdG style and made of mirrored, green glass. To my nose, the scent is pure genius: woods, some aromatics, and then… a green pepper note. It has that signature CdG touch where they create a note that "busts through." The pepper carries like a head note but acts like a base note. It truly is one of the best perfumes in my book.

Switching Back to Android I’m heading back to Android. I tried to get into the Apple ecosystem again and even bought the Apple Watch. If I were to stay with Apple, it would be for the Watch; the phone itself is just okay. Since it's a standard iPhone 15, the processor doesn't quite keep up with the system. While the apps are often better, the browsing experience is only mediocre. For the same price, I could get a much better browsing experience from a Galaxy S24. I just can’t justify the "Apple tax" or going all-in on their system. I’m currently looking at the Galaxy S25 Edge or the Pixel 10.

Refilling the Pilot Varsity I just refilled my Varsity fountain pen. It’s a disposable pen that costs about \$ 4 at my local art supply store. Did you know that with a silicone gripping pad and some "strong-arm" technique, it’s actually possible to refill the Varsity? The nib is much better than expected for that price point, and it even features an ink-level window.
