Sedley Men's Perfume

Enjoying Sedley, a men’s fragrance from Perfumes de Marly, I decided to compare it with another citrus‑green opening scent for men—Salvatore Ferragamo Pour Homme.

In Sedley, the green character comes from a menthol note, whereas Salvatore Ferragamo Pour Homme introduces green‑fig leaf. From that point onward the two diverge: Sedley feels richer and heavier, thanks to its resinous undertones.

Perfumes de Marley is renowned for “sillage monsters” that dominate a room. In my case, the effect was muted—likely because I purchased a bottle at a discount from an online thrift store, which may have affected the concentration. Both fragrances are recommended for spring and summer by the perfume‑review site.
