I need to get up from my chair and keep building my fitness, balance, and movement. I asked my psychologist today if we can meet less often, since I’ve been doing better. That makes me a little sad, but it’s necessary because my calendar is getting crowded with appointments. Over the past month, my mood has been more positive than anything else.
I’ve also been thinking about my peers in mental health who are struggling with brain illness like I am, and I wish better lives for all of us. It’s a hard struggle for many people, and that hasn’t changed.
On a lighter note, I’ve been making a cat plush figure for fun out of whip stitch and cleaned-up T-shirt material. It’s coming together, and I’m waiting for embroidery floss to arrive. In the meantime, I may make another big bag for carrying things while running errands in downtown. I’m planning to pull apart my poorly made sweater from bulky T-shirt yarn and maybe turn it into a shopping bag.
That’s the update: feeling good again, sleeping great, and next week looks normal. Summer is moving along. What happened to June?
