Inspiration of the Bible: False View 3 - Authoritative Concepts, not Words

This is an interesting concept. The belief is that God's Word, when dealing with CONCEPTS it is authoritative. However, the WORDS themselves are not. So whatever the concept is that comes from the Scripture, that surely is authoritative and should be obeyed. We will address the biggest flaw at the end of this series when we look at the correct understanding for inspiration of the Bible.

Dealing strictly with the concept theory, if there is not care in how the Bible is approached, the Bible can be made to say anything we want it to say. That is not only haphazard in dealing with the Scriptures, but it is also dangerous and dishonest. The very Words of God are inspired, not just the concepts itself.
