donkey descriptive writing

Standing in the foreground of this picture is a donkey. The donkey looks uneasy, almost as if its not comfortable being where it finds itself; in the midst of slippery terrain high up in the mountains. The harsh sun beating down on the dark, heat absorbent coat of the donkey is taking a toll, and the only relief that the poor creature has is the huge amount of cargo on its back providing what little protection from the sun that it does. The donkey knows what his purpose is. His utter exhaustion won't stop him from fulfilling his duties and completing his job. He feels like he could crumble at any moment but he knows that he has to carry on. Left no choice, the poor beast doesn't stop toiling under the sun until it's work is done. The stubbornness of the creature won't allow it to rest until it knows that what he's set out to do has been completed. So he toils on, under the beating sun, over mountains, boulders, through thick and thin until he reaches his destination, where he knows he can rest easy.
