My friend by the river had gotten back to me just before an important meeting with a potential client.
I just finished the client consult.
I'm currently texting back and forth with my river friend right now to see if they need me again today or if they'd need me more over the weekend.
She's been sending me pics of how much flooding they've been experiencing and how far the White River has encroached on her land.
I love her, her wife and the joy and connection to nature that her place brings to those that get to visit.
My heart and prayers go out to her, her family, her neighbors and the animals in their care.
Luckily it looks like shes got really good neighbors and are currently building a wall to stem the flow of the river.
If it holds, they should be able to "weather the storm" and not have to evacuate.
If not, they will likely have to evacuate tonight or tomorrow.
My schedule is cleared and they know that my strength is theirs if they need it.
