Also I’m feeling a bit physically run down today as I’d been at my friends farm doing prep for possible river damage yesterday for about 5 hours.

I still have a sense that going and doing my local stream dip is going to be helpful before going on my walk/run this morning, but I’m also rebelling a bit against what I know is good.

But my mind at times can play tricks on me by saying things like, “it’s too cold outside to go and walk to the stream. The stream is too high and rapid because of the massive amount of rainfall we’ve been experiencing. Wouldn’t you rather just be warm, curl back up in bed and forget this whole waking in the rain and cold exposure madness?”

And yet I’m going to walk in trust and go.

I know how much I gain in energy, mental clarity, and how my body really really likes the movement from really cold to walking/ running in the morning.

So off I go, surrendering to what speaks to both my spirit, heart, and body.
