Being that it’s the Christmas season, I think on gifts both the giving and receiving of.
And I also consider how God offered up his son, knowing what he would endure for our sakes.
Having two boys of my own I can’t even imagine what that must’ve been like for God.
I endeavor to live a life that is worthy of that gift.
I am also reminded that “It is better to give than receive”
I think that a lot of people then think that they should ‘only’ give, and shut off their ability to receive blessings.
I also like, I want you to prosper even as your soul prospers. Which means to me that at some point there will be a season of reaping what was sown.
Receiving what was freely offered and given, just as we have freely offered and given.
I pray that we all can find where we can love our neighbors as only we can from the Godlike core of who we are.
