The Spark of Friendship That Keeps Giving
So today as I was about to step out and do my weighted walk, I noticed none other than my new friend Jon Floyddup to park and get started with his work for the day.
So I walked up unnoticed as he was on his phone and gently tapped his window. Seemingly surprised once he recognized it was me. He probably rolled down his window and we chatted for a little bit.
I’ll let him know that because of his direction I was able to pick up a good amount of firewood.
He then told me with whatever work they’re doing in the area that he would drop a pin on the specific locations where they’re dropping firewood.
This is both greatly appreciated and entirely unexpected or even requested.
And yet it felt as though he was still desiring to give back from the value he had received in a conversations we had had yesterday with me friend while we’re waiting to start their day.
Whatever the case, I’m grateful for the blessing of additional warmth and enjoyment for my family.
