Oh the Adorable Joy
So yesterday the Seahawks won their second Super Bowl ever.
What was more amazing to me than them winning was how much both teams players were utilizing football as their platform to share their Love God and Christ both with their teammates and with the world.
To add to this beauty, my youngest son decided if he wanted to take my ratty old Seahawks hat, and wear it at the school today so that he and I could have the same hats.
The amount of joy and love that was expressed as a result of me telling him that he could take my hat with him was precious.
And as soon as I picked them up just a few moments ago, he had asked if he could wear my hat again and told me it was in his backpack.
To make things even cuter, they had cinched it up so that it would fit his head better, but instead he wanted it at the size that I normally wear it at.
It’s a simple and beautiful reminders of God’s love that bring joy to my day regardless of the challenges I may have faced.
Like the sun peeking through the dark clouds and warming my face as I make my way home.
