Michele became aware of her special power when she flicked the switch to the broken basement light, out of habit, and the light went on.
She trotted down the creaky steps not bothering to keep quiet. Shelves full of boxes that had writing on them stood there with layers of dust. Michele approached the box that read 'Christmas Decorations' on it picking it up from the shelf and placing it on the ground. It wasn't closed very well so she opened the flaps.
