While a Yang type like Wood, the Fire CF type of person is happy to be where they are and posseses joy instead of being driven. Humor and entertainment come easy to the Fire CF who lives for connection and interaction. Typically, they are happy to be the center of attention and have the best people skills. Fire CF is the most superficial type of the five, focusing on immediate satisfaction and not worrying about the future.

Heart is the "supreme controller" in Chinese medicine, an organ served by all others as it is the only one that can never stop working. It's partner, Small Intestine is in charge of "sorting the pure from the impure". The additional pair of organs that Fire Element has are the Pericardium & Triple Heater - two organs unknown to Western medicine and both providing the power of connection to other humans.

Pericardium allows us the deep, intimate connection with an intimate partner, the Triple Heater controls our ability to connect to everyone else (family and friends, neighbors and coworkers).

Fire CF has health issues along these functions. Physical and emotional issues related to Heart, problems with sorting priorities in life, gut biome issues, IBS, isolation, anxiety, panic attacks and other emotional issues.

Lifestyle changes: to address issues with Fire organs, focus on bringing ease to them and satisfying their purpose. They need joy and connection with other humans so even if the intimate connection is not available, engage in having friends, meeting new people daily, practicing the art of small talk and light interaction, laughing every day.

To properly sort and regain that function, the Small Intestine needs natural food, minimally seasoned and lightly cooked. Add bitter tasting foods to your daily menu.
