The food comes in separated containers, some plastic, some hard paper. One of my containers was stapled shut and needed scissors to open.

This order came with a quarter of a green cabbage, an unknown large herb, a red sauce which I didn't try, and a bottle of a black sauce with sesame which I didn't try.

One wings order gave me about 10 wings which are somewhat small but are of good quality. They are very lightly seasoned with only salt. I would order them again, and they are very well priced, although they aren't anything exciting.

The grilled chicken was heavily overcooked to the point of being difficult to eat. The only seasoning was the taste of smoke on the chicken skin, which was nice but not good enough to recover it as a dish. I imagine this item came with one of the sauces, as it does need one, but I am not sure.

The catfish was boney (that's normal), a little overcooked, and had too much salt on the fish-skin. The taste was nice (chicken-y or snake-y for a fish) but mild, as is often the case with cooked freshwater fish, however the smoke did at least add something. I feel like the flavour was too mild, but it is fine as is. Compared to the grilled chicken it was very good, and with the price it fairs even more favourably, but I'm not sure I would order it again. I don't know what a pimp is (in food) but I didn't want any so I requested none of it, and I think the black sauce came with this item.

The black glutinous rice was an undercooked block of plain tasting white rice and a little black rice mixed in. Hard to eat and not recommended.

The grilled pork neck tasted underseasoned compared to the fishsauce I'm used to, but was very well cooked, lean on fat, and had a good taste to it. It works even despite the under-seasoning due to the quality of the cooking, but I would want to add just a little something to it to make it pop. You get a decent amount of it, the taste is good, and it's reasonably priced.

I think I've come across a theme with this restuarant. The items are good and well priced (besides the grilled chicken) but underflavoured in a way that makes it not all that exciting. For someone anxious about what to eat, I think the wings and pork neck from this place would make for comforting and reliable food for a good price, but the adventurous would be disappointed with these orders.

I'd recommend a few orders of the wings before a day-in movie night, or the pork neck with some homemade rice / similar. The catfish was cheap and could be filling with a side from home, but I don't love freshwater fish personally.
