in Stranger than fiction, none of the characters know each other. We watch Harold's story but imagine everyone else? Everyone else just accepts this guy doing all of these clearly insane things, the movie even points this out. Harold isn't crazy because it is a movie. The audience is in on the joke and we know that this is a movie about a guy who's life is being controlled by the narrator who is a real writer and he is just a character in a book. Either Harold is enlightened or crazy.

None of the characters know each other and then through one guy's enlightenment to is own death, everything changes.

there is a character in the film that i'm drawn to and they all have qualities I like but Dr. Hilbert is the literary figure that agrees to go on this insane ride. He is the only person to take Harold seriously. Why? Because he likes the Author. He has a total professional crush on the author. The writer with writers block.

Harold was always going to audit the baker. He was handed the file but only he started going crazy and the coworker took the other file.

Had noting happened Harold he goes in to work and likely gets the other case. The co-worker is lazy and Harold is better with numbers so Harold get the harder case, the baker gets audited by a nerd.

Harold gets a literal enlightenment that he is controlled by a British lady writing a story. Harold does however have free will. Not every aspect of his life is documented. In a book you could never do this so at some level his life is on auto pilot.

Harold could have thrown his wrist watch out because it was clearly broken or possessed. Time is funny however and the reset of time by just two min was a good one.

Micro choices matter. Life runs basically on a clock. If you do nothing time ticks on. If there is something you must do the adjustment bureau kicks in. Stranger than fiction puts this as the plot comes to you.

A literal wrecking ball comes crashing through Harold's life at just the moment he did nothing. The universe said you have to move in with your Trekkie friend

by taking action on the world, the action has an equal and opposite reaction on you.

sitting here writing this makes my back hurt. The chair pushing back on me with the help of gravity. Gravity pushes my body down which is good so I can walk around. Electromagnetism keeps me together and from falling through the floor or a sea of particles in space.

right now I am putting my time and energy in to the activity of writing this and getting my thoughts down.

pondering takes time but it doesn't pay the bills.

Now I tell you this and explain, why? Why bother?

Well one for me just because i'm bored and need an outlet and the other
and
see this is true wither you like it or not and this is me taking action. I'm putting my thumb on the scale because I need a way out.
