there are no rules

There are some that are self imposed like ethics and morals, some more that society says like saying please and thankyou being polite is a quality that society says is lets say helpful/reccomended

physics and the climate generally come from the universe and no body knows who is in charge of that whole thing.

so.
physics are rules nothing you can do about that. Call it a law

society has rules but society is an idea of ideas and has no true authority

government is the mechanism, the technology created to enforce rules of society.

people are units of both. You can only be an agent of one.

you can attempt to be agents of both but at some point laws restrict freedom.

i'm not saying have no laws but society needs to keep check on the government and the laws.

so government laws are like required optional. You can break the law but then society says you go to jail. You have lost freedom by breaking a law. Murder= prison or death.

to be a good citizen in society requires at minimum laws to be respected but also local customs and traditions.

society demands that we as humans contribute to it. This is an ask from society. Do something to help out. This is also not technically required. You can somewhat be a lone wolf but the world still has rules by other governments that say where you get to live.

For example the united states government has decided that it would really rather if people didn't come here. in fact the government has kicked people out of the country. That is pretty wild power! You have to go somewhere else to live, sorry cant stay.

some person somewhere doesn't like you being next to them.

So you are allowed to be a lone wolf in the place where people say it is ok to do so. Can't sit here.....

lets say you find a spot in the woods. We agree not to help/hurt you and if you don't want anything then fine.

Even this isn't fully true. Society, government and people will still fuck with you so unlikely this will ever work unless you have spaceship

as of this writing in my current timeline there are no spaceships that people can just have. Personal flying saucer with a place to sleep/eat/shit

so the best we can do is in the woods and/or up a mountain. However if you have a little cash we can put you up in a 300sq.ft apartment in new York for $3500/month

Living in society within the rules of most governments will require much more involvement.

Everything costs money. You can't hardly breathe for free, food, water and shelter all cost enough money that you will likely need a job or to be multi-generation wealthy.

you can work for yourself but this is really hard actually and way more work than anyone admits to. Scams are discouraged but are everywhere. Technically illegal and the legal ones have great lawyers

Society can and will scam you.
Government can and will scam you.
People can, will and repeatedly do scam you.

Because money. Always money.

We made up money and it pisses me off!

We need it but don't know how to manage it. We invented systems we were too dumb to not fuck up.
