The Suspicious Sound

They were staring at the stars in the dark sky when all of a sudden, Liam heard a twig snap.

"Did you hear that??" he asked in a lowered voice

"What?" Belle replied, confused

"I think I heard a sound coming from over there!" he cried

"What, no. That's impossible!" she yelled. "We have been all alone on this island since the every beginning, and there has not been a single boat or helicopter or anything! Not once." she replied, sadly.

"Look, I, for sure, heard something" he whispered.

"What do you want to do?" she asked, irritatingly "Want to go and check it out?"

"Umm, alright" he answered in a trembling voice

They both got up, dusted the sand off themselves, and slowly started to walk towards where the sound came from. All of a sudden, the bushes started rustling and leaves began crunching. Someone, or something, was running away!

He screamed and started to run in the opposite direction. He kept on running until he turned around and saw Belle standing still. Not moving a muscle. Liam steadily tip-toed towards Belle.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, YOU LUNATIC?!?!" he whispered in her ear. "LETS GO!"

"No," she replied. "let's go check it out!"

"ARE YOU CRAZY??" he shrieked. "I don't wanna die!"

It's a miracle we didn't die yet," she stated. "let's go!"

Belle started to pull Liam further from shore and they started to search around the island to find what it was that created those noises.
