Woke up early aand packed. Had a quick breakfast at the hostel and trekked 2mins to the bus station. It was pouring rain at this point which was a welcome change from the scorching heat of the rest of the trip.

Bought tickets to the Dublin airport at the station and slept on the bus.

Dublin airport was chaos and very wet. Finally made it to Belfast another three hours.

Checked in at the hostel and had a shower. The light kept turning off in the shower because it was on a sensor and the water temperature and pressure kept changing randomly. Went downstairs and hung out with some of my hostel-mates in the lounge. A lot of them were employees. More people came down. Everyone was drinking and it really had a house party vibe. Talked to an israeli about palestine. Did a crossword with a german. Etc.

One of my room mates asked me to help wake up his friend because she'd wanted to go out as well. We wanted her to have a pleasant rise so collected a bongo and guitar from the other room to serenade her awake. We must have been too soothing as despite giving her a good shake and everything she slept through the night.

Went out to a bar after a while for some live Irish music. Tried some Irish dancing a bit. Got a pizza. Danced some more. Spent 50p on a slot machine. I didn't win. We moved to another bar and did the same. Got back in after 3am. Exhausted. Bed.
