Checked out of my Utrecht hostel in the morning. Walked down to the big church nearby. Its nice on the inside but way more impressive on the outside. They have a great apple pie. Washed my clothes at the laundromat and talked to mum for a bit.

Took the train back to Amsterdam. Checked into my new hostel and went to get dinner. I found a highly rated traditional dutch restaurant online. As soon as I got seated it got insanely busy. Tons of people walking in and everyone getting turned away - including people with reservations as far as I could tell... Got the meat and potatoes. It was very good. Service took a while because there were only two servers most of the time.

Walked over to paradiso after for the concert I'd booked. It was Se So Neon - a Korean band I'd been following for a while. This is one of the reasons I came back to Amsterdam (that and it's easier to get to Berlin from here).

The concert was fun. They out on a good show overall. They played some unreleased stuff and had good crowd interactions. Pretty much what i was expecting. The venue was really cool too. It's an old church and they have a fantastic lighting system. They had smoke machines that released smoke that was pretty much only visible when shining light through it so you could see each beam and get some really cool effects like full length spotlights and stuff. There were also stain glass windows behind the stage and they'd rigged them so each section could be lit independently.

Headed back and debated joining one of the hostel crews across town. It was already almost midnight though so I decided it was best to just call it a night and save my stamina for Berlin.
