Owlboy Review

Owlboy is a pixel-graphic RPG with an innovative storyline and interesting characters.
So I got this game about 3 days ago, and it’s really addicting. The aesthetic is very peaceful, but it still has that element of arcade shooting and dungeon-crawling to it. In the game, you control a mute owl in a society of hyper-intelligent owls. As you try and figure out the responsibilities of an owl, on your home in the sky islands, there is a sky pirate attack where you race to complete a dungeon, at the end of which you find an ancient owl relic- it seems te pirates are gathering these for some reason, and their next stop is the capital. The gameplay is addicting, simple and yet hard, and the puzzles are fun to solve.
The storyline is amazingly fluid, and it is a masterpiece of storytelling that I think should get more credit for being one of the greatest RPGs of all time, with characters that are hilarious, and rather different outlooks on animals and objects. Try it out! It’s definitely worth the buy.
