Why My Favorite Comic is Peanuts, by Charles Schulz

Peanuts is a comic created by an American cartoonist named Charles Schulz. It’s considered the most influential comic of all time, because it was one of the first comics that not only satirized current events, but also included humor just for humor’s sake. Charles Schulz holds an unmatched record in the history of comics- he wrote, drew and colored every comic strip of peanuts, 17,897 of them, on his own!! He certainly deserves respect for that, and who can resist laughing at Snoopy’s adorable antics and Charlie Brown’s determination to kick the football while Lucy mercilessly pranks him every time?

I’ve collected 6 yearly Peanuts collections up until now, and I hope to keep collecting until I have all of them! (no easy task, there are 26 volumes!)
