The Anatomy of a Game: Locations

The action in TAF games take place in locations.

Locations can be any type of place or space. For example, rooms, conjoined rooms, or entire houses could all be locations in a game. In fact, you're not restricted to rooms and houses. Locations can be castles, windmills, schools, hospitals, submarines, or anything else. If you can think of it, you can use it a location TAF game.

And the action needn't be constrained to the indoors. You could have a game set outside with each location a different external setting. Or a game might involve you exploring a building of some type, going outside and travelling to another building, and so on. You can have any number of locations in a game.

When I say there are no limits, there really are no limits. You could start off in a coal mine and end up in a hot air balloon. You could fly a hot air balloon in a massive subterranean cavern.

If you can imagine it, you can include it in a game.
