The Midnight Crash
Alex has been staring at their screen for 20 minutes. If they don't get this done before midnight, they may not pass this class. it was already late, their eyes could barely stay open. As they were blankly staring at their work, they heard a screech outside. Their bloodshot, tired eyes shot open. They went outside to investigate what just happened. And when they saw what happened they were paralyzed with shock. After processing what just happened, Alex began panicing. They garnered the courage to look outside the window. Their fear was gradually turning into curiosity. A truck had hit a tree and the flashing lights were coming from the headlights. Then the driver-side door opened and the driver fell out.
