I'm looking for a system whereby I can capture my notes but also publish a small notes blog. I'm looking for minimal effort, which generally means an online editor, and ability to enable/disable certain items. Ideally I can self host it to (to avoid spending any money). This is quite appealing although the blogging part doesn't appear to be self-hosted, however, I wonder, with enough searching, whether or not I could manage that myself some other way. ...

This is kind of neat. Encrypted notes but then decrypts to a blog... Curious. Also free... Trying to get my head around a good note taking system for the long term - features, backup, price, lock-in risks, usefulness, be able to create more knowledge....etc. Spending a good deal of time faffing about, reading articles, watching YouTube but doing no reading... This is not what I was supposed to be doing tonight. ...
