I wonder....

I'm looking for a system whereby I can capture my notes but also publish a small notes blog. I'm looking for minimal effort, which generally means an online editor, and ability to enable/disable certain items. Ideally I can self host it to (to avoid spending any money).

This is quite appealing although the blogging part doesn't appear to be self-hosted, however, I wonder, with enough searching, whether or not I could manage that myself some other way.
