Brain On Steroids

533

So many things are happening right now. Elections. Protests. The pandemic.

Somehow I feel like following all the news, participating in all of the discussions is like taking steroids. Sure, it makes you hyped up, knowledgeable. But it doesn't last long. It's an artificial exaggeration. An effort to swallow it all.

Your brain will get overworked, lose its peak capacity, and, in the end, get damaged. The damage will be permanent. The more you do it, the more it compounds.

Don't follow it all; don't talk about it all.

Don't take steroids.
