US-German Relations

🇺🇸🇩🇪 Americans know it's Germany that is holding back Ukraine's invitation to NATO. Germany may think they have won an important milestone by convincing President Biden to align with them on this issue, but they haven't. The only thing Germany has won thus far is the distrust of Americans. Americans are not pleased with Germany's stubborn stance on Ukraine's NATO membership. And if Germany continues on this course, our distrust of them will only grow stronger.

Germany was the aggressor in World War II - the last war in Europe. Germany completely destroyed the entire continent, committing heinous war crimes, the most heinous war crimes known to mankind, and yet the USA was generous enough to let them join NATO while they were still in a territorial dispute with Russia. The USA was also extremely generous by rebuilding their economy through the Marshall Plan, and the USA protected their territorial integrity for decades from Russia. After everything the USA has done for Germany, we expect Germany to be more sympathetic to Ukraine's situation and return the favor to Ukraine. We expect President Biden to insist that Germany do more for Ukraine and offer Ukraine an invitation to join NATO, instead of allowing Germany to hinder the alliance from helping Ukraine.
