🇺🇦 All of these commitments by the G7 are good. I'm happy they are working on security guarantees, and I'm also happy Ukraine will continue to reform the country for Ukrainians. We wish Ukraine had a clear commitment to join the Alliance, and we will not rest until they get one. We look forward to celebrating Ukraine's membership in NATO. xo

🇺🇸 If NATO accepted Ukraine tomorrow, Russia would leave Ukraine's territory immediately. Russia knows they can not win a war against NATO, and they will not even try. The war would be over.
Russia is like the big, bad bully that picks on the little guy, only when he is absolutely certain that the little guy can not defend himself. But Russia miscalculated on Ukraine. We gave Ukraine what they needed to defend themselves.
