Whatever Angus King

🇺🇸 If NATO accepted Ukraine tomorrow, Russia would leave Ukraine's territory immediately. Russia knows they can not win a war against NATO, and they will not even try. The war would be over.

Russia is like the big, bad bully that picks on the little guy, only when he is absolutely certain that the little guy can not defend himself. But Russia miscalculated on Ukraine. We gave Ukraine what they needed to defend themselves.

Russia knows for a fact they will not win against NATO. There is not even a sliver of hope that Russia would defeat NATO. And Russia knows any nuclear attack on NATO territory will be met with massive retaliation - meaning we will wipe them off of the face of the earth, starting with the Kremlin. Russia will not use their nuclear weapons and Russia will not go to war with NATO. There is no threat of World War III. That is an absolute fact.

This is the problem with old men in the US Congress. Angus King seems like a generally nice guy, but this isn't the first time he has made stupid comments.

But the ultimate problem with Angus King's statement is that Ukraine is not even asking to join NATO tomorrow. King is intentionally making misleading statements to confuse the public about what Ukraine really wants from NATO. That is not cool.

This is why we will work hard to put intelligent, honest, liberals in the US Congress.
