Three Cheers for Japan and Korea

🇯🇵🇰🇷🇺🇸 The tripartite of Japan, Korea and the USA is an important first step in a long-term Indo-Pacific strategy. We're so happy that relations between Japan and Korea are rapidly improving. Japan and Korea are our two strongest allies in the Indo-Pacific, they are both liberal democracies, and the USA has had bilateral mutual defense agreements with both countries for several decades. We wish to create a strong security community for the whole Indo-Pacific region with this tripartite forming the core of that community. xo
