The Pivot to Asia

🇺🇸 I don't really like this concept of pivoting to Asia. This concept implies that we are moving away from the North Atlantic Community to realign with our Indo-Pacific allies, but we have no intention of distancing ourselves from the North Atlantic Community that we have created. Rather than shift our focus from one region to another, what we really want to do is maintain focus on every region of the world. We realize some regions need more of our attention. This is why we want to create new security communities for other regions of the world, starting with the Indo-Pacific, that are modeled on NATO, and we would like all of these security communities to be collaborative with one another. xo
