The USA Loves the Netherlands

🇳🇱 I'm sorry to hear that the far-right has won the election in the Netherlands, but I am not surprised. If the left continues to ignore the immigration problems, the voter's will elect the party that promises to solve it. The far-left rejected Mark Rutte's sensible migration policy, and the government fell apart because of it. Clearly it would have been best to implement Rutte's centrist migration policy. Now the Netherlands will likely have an even harsher migration policy implemented by the new government along with many other unpopular far-right policies, simply because the left refused to make a small compromise on migration with Rutte. Rutte clearly understood what the Dutch people wanted, but his coalition partners did not. If the left refuses to cooperate and solve the immigration problems this trend will continue across Europe. It's infuriating how stubborn the left has been on migration in both Europe and the USA. They refuse to acknowledge their failures on immigration, and far-right populists are winning because of it. xo
