🇺🇸 I think the California Senate race tells you everything you need to know about the Democratic Party's voter base. Schiff is leading by a long shot. Porter is nearly tied with a moderate Republican runner, while Lee trails far behind all of them. The takeaway from that race is that the far-left can't beat a moderate Republican even in a deep blue state.

However, the center-left can easily surpass both the far-left and moderate Republicans in blue states. The center-left will have a more challenging time in a red state, but they will definitely perform better than the far-left. The Democratic Party should recognize that the center-left performs better than the far-left whether the state is red or blue, and that is why the center-left should be leading the Democratic Party.
