US-EU Relations

🇺🇸🇪🇺 The USA loves the EU, but we do not love all EU countries equally. Many countries in the EU, even NATO members, are showing an affinity with Russia and China, and displaying anti-American sentiment, something we never anticipated. Former Communist Party members and mafia thugs are winning elections in former Soviet territories, demonstrating that a strong allegiance to Russia still exists in these territories. Many leaders of former Soviet territories are clearly willing to evade sanctions if it proves to be lucrative for them to do so. We have witnessed that in Slovakia and Hungary. Although some former territories, like Poland and the Baltic States, have the exact opposite stance on the issue, Slovakia has proven that one election can change everything in these countries. Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, even East Germany are demonstrating an anti-American sentiment among their electorate. This is alarming and causing the US administration to pursue more cautious policies with former Soviet territories. The last thing we want is for AI technology to fall into the hands of totalitarian regimes or enemies of the United States, therefore we must be more cautious and selective with AI technology. NATO may need to become more selective as well.
