🇺🇸🇮🇱 I once doubted the Holocaust when I was younger. Being of German ancestry, I just couldn't believe that it was possible. I couldn't understand how anyone, especially an entire society of highly intelligent people, could commit such a horrible act.

Reading The Origins of Totalitarianism by Hannah Arendt helped me understand this phenomena. I think the book should be required reading for all universities in the USA and the Free World.

🇺🇸 President Trump needs to stop fighting with US allies. Trump's threats towards allies are not having the effect he desires. Threatening to not honor Article 5 or to create tariff wars with allies is causing alarm and fear throughout Europe and elsewhere. Trump claims his threats are meant to encourage Europe to spend more on defense, but the reality is that Russia's war in Ukraine is causing Europe to spend more on defense.
