The Strait of Hormuz

🇺🇸🇮🇱🏴 The UK, EU nations, China, India, and all other nations using the Strait of Hormuz, will have to contribute to the costs of securing and policing the Strait. The American people will not be paying for it all. The USA can and will secure and police the Strait of Hormuz with the help of our partners, but we will expect all nations using the Strait to contribute to the costs of doing so.

The USA is not looking to make a profit off of the Strait. We are simply going to ensure that terrorists do not make a profit off of the Strait, and recoup all of the costs associated with securing the Strait and the global economy.

The USA can create a new fund managed by the IMF providing complete transparency for all nations if necessary. All fees collected from ships passing through the Strait will go into the new IMF fund. The USA, Israel and our other partners will bill the fund for all expenses incurred for securing the Strait. This solution will hopefully be temporary and no longer needed once we eliminate the terrorist threat to the Strait.

The USA, along with Israel and our other partners, will take on the responsibility of securing the Strait, but everyone using the Strait will contribute to the costs. American Liberals believe this proposal is more than fair. We look forward to getting this issue resolved immediately.
