🇬🇧 We are very happy to have the British monarch, King Charles III, visiting the USA. Americans love the United Kingdom, and we love the British people. The UK is very dear to us for many reasons, especially because of our long history. We wish to renew and strengthen the special relationship between the UK and the USA, and work together towards our shared vision for the world, one of peace, prosperity and liberty for all people in every part of the world.
Americans believe wholeheartedly in the liberal ideal of economic freedom, an idea we inherited from the British, and this idea eventually lead to the birth of our nation. This ideal, economic freedom, guides many of our domestic and foreign policies even today.
We wish to create a new trade agreement with the UK, one that will help us realize this ideal of economic freedom. We wish to reduce barriers in trade between the UK and the USA, while also protecting our two economies from global crises that cause so much economic instability for our people. We wish to work together to protect our strategic industries and create less dependencies on malicious states for critical resources. In the long-term, we hope the UK and the USA will establish a new Free Trade Zone between our two nations, creating a new economic union between us, and allowing both Americans and British to enjoy the benefits of uniting two of the largest and most prosperous markets in the world.
We also wish to work more closely with the UK to protect and defend one another, and to protect and defend the rest of Europe and North America as well. We wish to work closely with the UK to help Ukraine achieve a just peace, complete independence of all Ukrainian territories from Russia, and to end the Russian violence that Ukrainians are experiencing every day. We also wish to strengthen the Eastern Flank of NATO and the Arctic from malicious states to ensure our NATO members and other Europeans never endure the terrorism the Ukrainians are experiencing. We wish to work diligently with the UK on AUKUS to protect our Indo-Pacific friends from malicious actors in that region of the world too.
We hope the UK will continue to be our trusted partner and work with us to end terrorism in every corner of the world. We hope the British still view the USA as an ally and friend, and that our special relationship will continue to grow and become even stronger as we navigate all of the challenges we are facing today. Working together, as we have done for so long, our two nations can build a more peaceful and stable world and ensure that our people continue to enjoy all of the freedoms they enjoy today.
