CVポートの使用感｜腕からの点滴と比べて
以前の抗がん剤治療では、毎回腕に点滴の針を刺していたのですが、これがかなりつらかったです。皮膚に内出血が残ったり、抗がん剤投与中は痛みやしびれも感じていました。治療を重ねるごとに痛みも強くなり、剣山で腕をずっと刺しているような痛みを感じていました。治療後も1週間弱は腕に痺れが残ります。
それに比べて、CVポートからの投与はほとんど痛みを感じません。点滴中もリラックスできるので、体への負担が大きく軽減されました。治療後も全く痛みなどは出ません。

私が通院しているD総合病院では
患者さんに特別な事情がない限り、
抗がん剤治療をする際は
患者さんの負担軽減のため
基本的にみんなに推奨しているそうです。
(ちなみに私の主治医は D総合病院の総医院長です)
提案を受けるまで
