Tips to build mental & emotional resilience

1) control mindset

  • control my response
  • reframe challenges, how can i grow from this?
  • accept fear & discomfort are natural

2) stress is a test, train for it

  • desensitization from high stess event
  • gradually expose myself to discomfort

3) emotional control - master the pause

  • never react immediately in high stress situation
  • take a deep breathe, assess the situation & response with intention rather than impulse
  • learning to pause before reacting prevents regretful decision & keep you in control

4) confidence comes from preparation

  • so that I know I am prepared...
